A KSAT crew was on-hand during the recent “What’s Next?” tour stop in San Antonio by Texas Nationalist Movement president Daniel Miller, then made a trip to Nederland to interview Miller. The station plans to air the footage during its late newscast Friday.

“All too often our movement has been written off in print or by broadcasters who haven’t taken the time to learn a lot about who we are and what we stand for,” Miller said. “In the current political climate, KSAT has recognized that the Texas Nationalist Movement isn’t just some bunch of backroom tax protesters and has taken the time to do the job that more of our news media should do – ask questions and see first-hand what we’re all about.

“KSAT recognizes that we are exerting an influence on the Texas political scene,” Miller added. “This also shows how rapidly we are growing as new outrages by the federal government continue to alienate Texans. I look forward to working with other members of the news media and bringing our message, that there is an alternative to Washington, to the people of Texas.”
